An Amber Alert is issued for a 18 month old boy who was taken by his father around 3pm in Pahrump. 47 year old Stephen Alarid is a white male, 5 ft 10 in, 200 pounds and is described to have a medium build. Alarid has a shaved head and brown eyes. He is possibly driving a Gray Dodge or Ford Van without plates and may be headed to New Mexico. The boys mother is currently talking with Nye County deputies.
